Writer, Executive Producer, "Sam"
Nancy Payne has spent the last 5 years in the Chicago comedy and theatre scene. After performing at theaters like Second City, iO Theater, and Interrobang Theatre Project, she turned her focus to writing this short film during COVID after the passing of her grandmother. This is her first film.
Emily Barber
Director
Emily Barber has been directing commercial and narrative content for 4 years. With a degree in Cinematography and a background in performance, Emily learned to speak the emotional language of performance and the technical language of camera and lighting. She has directed content for The Second City, Gatorade, Walgreens, and Goldman Sachs. She loves telling stories about and for women and treating all peoples with compassion and respect.
Chad Gilchrist
Director of Photography
Prior to working as a director of photography, Chad spent 7 years cutting his teeth in the grip and lighting departments on large-scale narrative features and episodic television in Chicago, lighting shows and movies such as; Fargo (FX), American Crime Story: Versace (FX), Shameless (Showtime), Hala (Apple), Native Son (A24 / HBO), amongst many others. Chad is currently based in Chicago, and loves to travel often. Chad Gilchrist has collaborated with directors, brands, and artists all over the world, and brings his optimistic, solution-oriented leadership to productions of all sizes.
Tayler Bujnowski
Producer
Tayler Bujnowski is a seasoned narrative and commercial producer from Chicago, Illinois with a post-production background. Her extensive experience working as an editor, then as a post-production supervisor allows her to be an effective editorial-minded producer, making sure that projects are delivered on time and under budget. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Liz Payne
"Mom"
To those who know her best, Liz Payne has spent the majority of her life performing. Over the last few years, she has honed her skills in traditional acting techniques and vocal performance around Chicago. This is her first on-camera role.

Tom Simmermaker is an actor, writer, and comedian in the Chicago community and online. He has appeared in multiple house teams at iO Theatre, as well as commercials and web series around the city.

Jazmin Robinson is a writer and comedian in Chicago. She has performed at comedy clubs all around the city, including iO Theater and Second City.
